Back to the Atlantic Ocean...AGAIN!

Today is Monday May 2, 2011 and early tomorrow morning Maureen and I will fly to Fort Lauderdale and from there board the Star Princess for its repositioning trip to the Mediterranean Sea. Sailing time is 5pm. Our ultimate destination is Rome, Italy. We will be spending eight days at sea, my favourite time, then arrive at Tenerife, Canary Islands. In the next few days we will be visiting Gibraltar, Alicante and Barcelona

Spain, Marseilles, France and then Florence and finally sail into a harbour near Rome. We fly from there to Toronto on the 18th of the month.

Needless to say I will not have much time to prepare a blog for your entertainment. However, I am sure you will hear much about our trip and what kind of influence it had on my better understanding of life. At least I do hope some time at sea will again cause me to reflect and ponder the great mysteries of my existence.
