Summer Recess - See You in September

Now that the two good sailing months have begun I think it is time to take a break from the weekly blog. I started this blog in January 2011 - just for fun. And I must admit that I look forward to sharing my thoughts on a weekly basis. Not only does it require some discipline on my part, after all I am retired, but it provides a tool for me to reflect on my own life experiences, my being together with others in the world. Through this process I would like to believe that my life, on a daily basis, becomes more meaningful and gives me a deeper understanding as to how I relate to and respect others. I would hope  that whoever reads my blog will find time to reflect on the deeper meaning of their own lives as well.

So I am not abandoning my blog - just taking some time out to go sailing.

Our summers are short so it will not be long till we meet again.
